2. Ability objects:
To learn the strategies about how to read newspaper reports.
To talk about various conflicts in life.
To learn to resolve conflicts.
3. Moral objects:
To help students learn how to get on with others.
To foster and raise students’ awareness about core socialist values.
To learn to put core socialist values in to practice in students’ daily life.
II. Analysis of the students:
To raise students’ interests, I’ll tell students about my real conflict with my neighbors and ask for help. Some tasks can be challenging for students, therefore, they are encouraged to work in groups to discuss and solve difficult problems. I also provide them with some examples and sentence patterns before each task. In addition, the final group works are to resolve conflicts students are familiar with in their daily lives. Students will be able to finish a passage at the end of the class.
