Step 1 Scanning

Read the passage for the third time and check the answers

Step 2 The right signs

1. Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself.

2.I’m sure you will find one you like it.

3. I like playing piano.

Step 3 Coherence

1. The understanding between two friends means both of them have similar ideas and trusting each other.

2. When I was a child, I hoped to live in the city. I think I would be happy there.

3. Bill was standing at the side of the car, talking to two men who was helping him to repair it.

4. The population of China is much larger than it of the USA.

Step 4 Group Learning

Discuss，match the mistakes with types of coherence and find the tips

Tips 1:文中出现的每个代词要注意与其所指代的名词在人称、数量和性别上保持一致。

Tips 2:

1.关注词语与其在句中的功能、修饰语是否相一致。尤其是名词的数（单复数、可不可数）

2.由并列连接词连接的前后两部分在词性和功能作用上保持一致(形容词、副词、谓语、非谓语前后一致)。

Tips 3: 要有目的地去检查文中每一个谓语动词的时态与上下文、语境以及该句的时间状语是否一致

Tips 4:谓语要与主语在人称、数和语态上保持一致；注意较为复杂的主语（有插入语，从句、非谓语作主语）；定语从句，there be句式
