The students are Senior Three. They learned Emphasis sentences, but some of them haven’t master Emphasis sentences patterns and can’t apply the emphasis sentences . In this lesson, the teacher lead students to learn and use the usages of the Emphasis sentences .

Master the usages of the emphasis structures:
(1)It?is/?was?+?被强调部分+?that/?who+?句子其余成分;
(2)Is/?Was it?+?被强调部分+?that/?who+?句子其余成分;
(3)特殊疑问词+??is/?was?it?+?that?+句子其余成分;
(4)It + is / was + not until...+ that +句子其余成分。

4.Teaching Procedures:
Step1. Revision
do/ does/ did + 动词原形用来强调谓语
注意:这种句型只有一般现在时和一般过去时两种,只有肯定,没有疑问和否定形式。
Step2. Recall the basic structure of Emphatic Sentence
It is/was+被强调部分+that/who/whom +句子的其余部分。
这种结构中被强调的成分可以是主语、宾语、表语和状语。如果把“It is (was)...that ”去掉,
该句应该意思完整,不缺任何句子成分。当被强调部分为表示“人”的名词时,可用that或who;其他情况下则用that.
