2.Ability objects
a) Get the students to know how to use some important words and phrases rightly and freely.
b) Enable students to make sentences and organize a brief writing using vocabulary in unit 24.
3.Emotion objects
a) Stimulate students’ interest and build up their confidence in learning English by reading, translating and writing.
b) Develop students’ spirit of cooperation and teamwork by the game of making sentences using vocabulary they have learned.
Teaching＆Learning Strategies【教学和学习方法】
For achieving the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to adopt the following 3 strategies: task-based learning, group-work and communicative teaching as the main approaches. By using these strategies, students master useful vocabulary, their language points and make sentences.
Learning Important Points【学习重点】
Master the language points of deposit、burden、undertake、wind up、knock into and break into.
Learning Difficult Points【学习难点】
1. Have students use some important words and phrases rightly and freely.
2. Enable students to make sentences and organize a brief writing using vocabulary in unit 24.三、学习者特征分析(PartⅢ Characters analysis of students)Students of this stage in Senior Grade3 have a certain vocabulary. They know mastering plenty of vocabulary is a necessary guarantee to improve listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating skills. The more vocabulary students master, the better grades they get. So in this lesson, I will do my best to help them review key words and phrases, summarize their language points and practice vocabulary in different situations, making students the real master in class.四、教学过程(PartⅣ Teaching procedure)With the aid of our teaching& learning strategies, our learning process could be logically classified into six parts:
Step 1 listening
Let students listen to vocabulary in unit 24. Then read after the tape.
Step 2 reviewing and expanding some key vocabulary
