设计思想：

友谊是人们在交往过程中产生的一种情感，它可以吹走心灵的尘土，滋润人的心田；友谊是一座架起情感的桥梁，使你我沟通，心心相映。

本单元的中心话题是友谊，围绕Anne’s Best Friend 这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。本节课是阅读课型，是本单元整体教学的重要环节，通过本节课的学习使学生了解朋友的重要性。本课“Reading――Anne’s Best Friend” 具体描写了犹太女孩安妮为躲避纳粹的迫害而藏身于小阁楼，并把日记当作自己的朋友，通过写日记来表达自己孤独和郁闷的心情。本篇文章词汇量大，出现大量的生词对高一新学生来说对语言的理解有一定难度。

学情分析：

对于刚刚进入高中的学生来说，他们有着强烈的好奇心和求知欲。但是由于高一学生英语基础还比较差，词汇量缺乏，导致阅读速度慢、阅读理解能力差，回答问题时不能把自己的观点表达完全表达清楚。 因此，在组织教学活动中，要充分了解学情，注意调整活动任务的难度和梯度，使每个学生通过学习活动，都能学有所成，体验到成功的快乐。

Teaching goals

Learn something about the Anne’s Best Friend through reading.

Students can use what they have learned to describe their friends

Develop the students’ reading ability and enrich the students’ vocabulary.

To develop Ss’ basic skills, especially reading skills, such as skimming, scanning and concluding.

StepⅠ Warming Up

T: before our class let’s enjoy a song.

then using computer plays a piece of music. After the music,the teacher tells the students that the chinese name of the music is “友谊地久天长” after that,the teacher gives two proverbs that contant with friendship.

According to the music and two proverbs we can know that a good friend plays so important part in one’s life

Step Ⅱ Lead In

T: Q: What qualities shoud a good friend have?

Divide the whole class into two groups . Girls a groupe, boys the other. Then the two groups compete with each other.Let students list some qualities about a good friend. Students’ answers are : clever, smart, honest, kindharted, useful, cute, helpful, working-hard...

T: There are two sentence patterns . Using the words that you have given or those in ppt to describe you friends
