教学过程

= 1 \* ROMAN I . Warming up

Greet the students first, then get them to read “Our Slogan” after you.

Ⅱ. Lead-in (a game and a video)

1.Play a guessing game “What do I do ?” with the students..

2.Get Ss to pay attention to the past verb forms.

3.Then get students to watch a video. After watching, ask them “What did Gogo do? ” in the video.

Ⅲ. Revision

1.Introduce a cartoon movie “Finding Nemo”, and two main characters Nemo, a small fish, and Dory, a kind and forgetful fish, ask students “What did Dory do yesterday? ”

2.Ask students to describe past events by looking at the pictures.

3.Review lots of phrases by playing Memory Challenge.

Ask them to memorize the past events on the screen, then challenge their memory.

Ⅴ. Thinking and talking

Let Ss look at the bubble map on the screen.

T: “you know we had our Dragon Boat Festival last weekend, right? What did you do last weekend?” Get students to think and talk.

Get Ss to ask and answer about their last weekend.

“Let’s compete !”

Ⅵ. Listening and talking

---Deal with 1a. Ask students to match the activities with the pictures , then check their answers.

----Deal with 1c. Listen to the conversation, if possible, listen again. Finally, check the answers.

---Pairwork. Get students to ask about Jim’s and Sally’s last weekend.

---Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. Have a competition among three groups.
