学情分析

高一学生处于高中英语学习兴趣培养和学习习惯形成阶段。他们希望在学习过程中享受到乐趣,不希望老师死板地讲解字词及语法。希望老师能够激发他们的好奇心和创造力,并与他们日常生活紧密相连的学习,语境是他们希望教师在课堂上能呈现的东西。一旦教师走进他们的生活,他们就愿意跟着教师走,掌握文化知识,了解学习策略,形成良好的人生观和价值观。

重点难点

教学过程

【导入】Warming　up　and　Pre－reading

1.Ask ss the following questions:

Do you like?English?

Can you list some English-speaking countries ?

Play a video to feel the differences between British English and American English.

(通过层层设置问题,引入本课话题,引导学生思考,使学生自然而然进入教学中,激发学生学习英语的欲望。)

【讲授】While－reading

Task 1 Fast-reading?

Read quickly to find the topic sentence of each paragraph.

(通过寻找主题句，理解段落大意，培养学生略读技能。)

Task2 Careful-reading

Divide the whole class into several groups .

Ask the students to finish a time line of the development of English by reading the text carefully . 仔细阅读是快速阅读的延伸,根据阅读内容填空是锻炼学生阅读记录信息,查找用用信息的技巧。有目的性阅读是阅读训练一种技巧,并且提醒学生不用太多花大多注意力在地名和新单词上面,集中精力探究文章内容。阅读后学生给出答案 (教师不要袖手旁观,可以给学生必要的引导和帮助,发展学生的自主学习能力,真正的成为学习的主体。)
