Get the students to know how to protect oneself and help others in earthquakes.
Students analysis:(学情分析)
The fact is that a lot of students in our school are poor in English although they have learnt English for many years. They are now in senior high school, grade one. But they still can’t use simple English to express themselves and can’t listen quite well. So in the course of my teaching, I will help them dare to say something to overcome their oral difficulty and use a lot of repetition to help them understand clearly. Besides, the content of this lesson is about earthquake, which is very practical. I think the students will be interested in learning it.
