Step 2 Ask students how the reading passage is organized?

Step 3 Lead the students to the topic of this period:How to introduce a disaster? And then show the the 3 steps to introduce a disaster .

Step (1) What was it ,and when and where did it happen?

Step (2) During the earthquake(feelings and happenings)

Step (3) After the earthquake (damage and rescue)

Step 4 Lead to the students to come to the steps one by one ,during which there are some vocabulary teaching.

Step 5 Ask students to finish Task 1 and give 5 minutes for them to prepare

Step 6 Ask 3 of them to do the oral practice

Step 7 Conclusion

Step 8 Homework : writing

Step 4 students to give some words or lexical chunks from reading passage to describe pictures about the erathquake on the screen.
