Teaching procedures
Step One: Warming-up (15 mins)
Ask the Ss questions:
I. Who do you think that can be hero? (show some heroes picture to the Ss and let their guess who are those people, why they are heroes. Then express the identity of hero and introduce some adjectives of qualitities.)
II. Who do you think can be a great person?( Show some pictures about great peoples in the notebook in P33 and their basic information.)
III. Do you know him? (Show the picture of Nelson Mandela, letting the Ss guess who is him?)
Listening exercise: The life of Nelson Mandela (fill in the blank about the main time of the years.)
