StepⅠ. Warming-up and revision
1.Listen to an English song and show the teaching aims(听英文歌曲热身并引出教学目标)
2. Show students some pictures and answer some questions to review and learn some new phrases. (展示图片并通过问答复习旧短语,学习新短语。)
Step2. Presentation
Work on 1a. Check the answers:1d , 2 c ,3 f ,4 e ,5a ,6 b.
【设计意图】在学习新短语的同时,让学生继续认识不规则动词的过去式,图片的展示使得难点的突破来的轻松易接受。看图连接动作,积极抓住了学生的眼球,调动他们的思维,学生的参与力度进一步提高。
Step3. Listening 1c
This activity provides listening and writing practice using the target language. Call attention to the names Jim and Sally and the write-on lines under each name. Say, Now you are going to hear a conversation between Jim and Sally. They are talking about what they did over the weekend. Listen to the conversation and write what each person did. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Point out the sample answer, did her homework. Play the recording again. Ss listen and check their answers. Remind students that they can look back at earlier activities in this unit to get spelling help, if they wish.
【设计意图】运用听力教学策略——采取填表格的方式让学生掌握重难点句型,听前给时间阅读题目是养成良好听力习惯的前提,每次这样训练,让学生养成习惯。
Step4. Pairwork Work on 1d: This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language. Call attention to the example in speech bubbles. Ask a pair of students to read the dialogue to the class. Say, Now practice talking about what Jim and Sally did over the weekend. Practice in pairs- Use the dialogue as an example. Ask and answer one by one.
【设计意图】 1c-1d活动的目的在于让学生通过听来获取信息,通过任务的设计、说明与布置,指导学生将听到的内容进行信息加工。利用问答的形式反馈,通过运用既复习新知,同时也实现语言由输入到输出的目的。
Step5.Discuss in pairs
This activity provides open-ended oral practice using the target language to make the students know that it’s important to have a good living habit.

Step6 Make an Interview
According to the chart the students can ask their friends what they did last weekend. Then they can give a report in front of the class.
【设计意图】结合本节课的重点句型谈论近期所做的事情,采访好友或者同学,鼓励学生勇于开口、大胆表演。贴近生活,创设熟悉的生活环境,为学习增添了一丝愉悦。
