2.学情分析 (Analysis of students)
Students are fond of sports and have some basic knowledge about the Olympic Games, so they are willing to take part in the teaching activities.
Students have known something about the modern Olympic teams from TV or other media, so when it comes to the topic of the Olympics, students may have a lot to say. And students have the desire and ability to express their opinions and feelings. But lack of chances to express themselves makes they can’t communicate with others freely and that their pronounciation and thoughts need to be improved.
As for the reading ability, Students now have the ability to get the main idea of one passage, but can’t understand the whole passage throughly or integrate the information they get, so their reading ability need improving by activities and practice in class.
