Step 1 .Lead in
1. Enjoy the songs
Ask students to listen carefully about the rules in the classroom.
2. Review what we have learned in last class.
Step 2 Reading and role-play(2d)
1.Before reading the conversation, the teacher helps the class to know what the conversation is about.
2. Get the students to read and answer the questions.
3. Pay attention to the meanings of “a lot of”.4. Then listen and repeat the conversation. Learn the pronunciation and intonation.
Step 4 Grammar Focus
1. T: (Play the PPT and get the students to read them aloud.) Please read the questions and answers in Grammar Focus.
2. (Learn the grammar.)
T: Look at these sentences. Think of these questions:
(1) How to make a negative imperative?
(2) The same use of the model verbs.
(3) The use of “can” in this unit and in the other units.
(4) The differences between “have to” and other model verbs.
3. Ss discuss these questions. Then the teacher explains and teaches the language points.

Step 6 Practice (3c)
1. T: Do you have any ideas for a dream school? What rules do we have? Please write rules for your dream school.
2. Students talk about their dream school.
Ss: At my dream school, we don’t have to come to school every day. We can learn on the Internet at home.
