教学内容：Animal extinction

一．Type (教学课型) ： Reading and listening

本文介绍的是恐龙和渡渡鸟永远退出历史舞台的悲哀和震撼。教材设计的目的是在训练学生阅读和听力技能的基础上，让学生意识到保护野生动植物的重要性，树立正确的人生观与世界观。

二．Analysis of the textbook 教材分析

本节课为本单元的第三课时，本课介绍的是恐龙和渡渡鸟永远退出历史舞台的悲哀和震撼。通过学习，学生进一步意识到野生动物保护的重要性和紧迫性。，综合训练学生的听说读写的能力。以动物的生存状况和如何保护为主线，贴近学生生活，贴近真实的教学行为。强调语言的运用，促进学生自主学习，发展学习的策略，培养学生创新精神。于学生的听力水平，学生在听的过程中理解起来有一定难度.因此在本节课要考虑这一问题,帮助学生克服困难,使学生有效地进行理解和听说活动，着重训练学生集中注意力，抓住线索，捕捉特定信息能力，提高学生的听力技巧和概括能力。
