1.Show the students a short video and ask what the short video is about.
2.Show some key information of the short video:Wildlife Conservation Day;Global Conservation Crisis;Stand up and Speak out.
Step Ⅱ Warming Up
Show some pictures to introduce different kinds of wild animals.(elephant,tiger,lion,giraffe,wild horse,zebra,rhino,red-crowned crane,golden monkey, milu deer, panda)
Show some pictures and ask students why these wild animals are in danger of disappearing.(pollution,food shortage,destruction of habitats,too much hunting)
It’s time for us to take immediate action now to protect the endangered animals.
