《Learning about Language》新课标教案优质课下载

On the one hand, I use pictures of our sports meeting effectively. Encourage students improve the ability of independent learning and make a deep sense of teamwork. On the other hand, the whole class is students-centered and task-based. I pay more attention to students’ participation and feelings. Also, the class emphasizes communication and practice, along with reflections.

The analysis of learning material

The grammar item is from Book 2 Unit 5 Music, which students haven’t learned before. Although students have learned the attributive clause, they still feel it difficult to learn the attributive clause with preposition+ which/whom. According to the scientific concepts of the new English Curriculum Standard for senior high school, I choose our sports meeting to create a real context guiding them to learn the attributive clause with preposition+ which/whom efficiently. The purpose of this lesson is to help students find out the rules and use the grammar item to describe pictures and write a report about sports meeting. The learning material is a good helper for students to gain confidence.

The Analysis of students

They are senior high school students (Grade 1) from common class whose basic knowledge and basic skills are not very good. They have always think it hard and tiring to learn grammar, especially the attributive clause with preposition+ which/whom which they first learn. Therefore, it’s important for me to try my best to create a real context to help students effectively using the sense of independent learning and cooperative learning, together with emotional education.

1. list the rules of the Attributive Clause preposition+ which / whom

2. express more about your sports meeting

3. discuss about making a report about our sports meeting using the attributive clause with preposition+ which/whom
