ABOUT THE SsSenior one Ss have a good command of some reading strategies such as skimming for gists, scanning specific details, understanding the cohesion; as a result, the focus will be on giving Ss enough opportunities to put them into practice. They know something about Chinese traditional festivals but can’t introduce them in a proper way in English. So reading in this section is not for understanding; however, is a way to help Ss have an access to introducing Chinese traditional festivals.
