reading skills. Such as , key sentences, skimming ,scanning and so on.

Step1: Warming up
1.What`s the Chinese name of these planets?(Named the five groups with planets`name)
Try to put the right order of development of life on the earth? (show some pictures to the class and encourage Ss to say the right order of development of life on the earth,different students will give different answers)
Some ideas about the beginning of the universe.
Pan Gu separates the sky from the earth.
Nu Wa makes man.
But these ideas are not the scientific ideas.
Step2: Pre-reading
At first Let`s watch a video ,then we`d better come to the text.If you want to know more, please turn to Page 25
Step3:fast reading
Purpose;to get the gist of the passage.
