--Using Language(On the book 3 of PEP edition)
Analysis of the teaching materialThe topic of this unit is "astronomy" which is related with the solar system, the birth of the earth, the "Big Bang" and the exploration to the moon, etc. It mainly focuses on the content how the earth began. In addiction, through another imaginary scientific story, the mystery of the moon gravity is shown to us distinctly. Although the story itself is imaginary, it still arouses students' reading interest and leaves more thinking space to them.
Analysis of the studentsThe students in my class are the ordinary ones with the weak English foundation and the limited vocabulary. It is quite difficult for them to understand the complicated sentence structure and read through the whole passage.
