2. How to teach students to express different locations, populations, history and traffic, etc .

3. How to express feelings and comments on different aspects of the city or country.

教学目标

1.知识目标:

(1)Let students to learn some useful new words and expressions : mix, mixture, bush, maple, frost, confirm, wealthy, distance, mist, booth, downtown, approximately, dawn, buffet, broad, nearby ,tradition, terrify, impress, in the distance

(2)Get students to read “The True North” From Toronto To Montreal

(3)Get students to learn the expressions of direction and position.

(1)Develop students’reading skills and enable them to learn how to use different reading skills to read different reading materials..

Step 1: leading in and warming up

1. Greet and show a picture of train to the students to arouse the students’

2. Review two cousins—Li Daiyu and Liu Qian’s the route of trip.

3.Show the picture of guide to lead in reading .
