1. Greetings: Good afternoon, students, how are you doing today?
2. Ask students:
① What do farmers usually put on the soil to make crops grow fast ?
② How many kinds of fertilizers do farmers use? And what are they?
③ show two different pictures of apples and ask students which kind is better for our health and if they want to know more read the passage on page 14.
Step2: Pre-reading (1min)
1.Do you know what is organic farming?
2.Which kind of fertilizer do farmers use when they are doing organic farming, chemical fertilizers or natural fertilizers ?
