一、教学内容分析
In this period the students will do some oral practice about the usage of the –ing used as predicative, attribute or object complement. To achieve the above aim, the teacher will get the students to work both individually and in groups. While dealing with the usage of -ing form, the teacher will show students some real situation or background to make the oral practice vivid and closely related to students’ life. So the teacher will first show the students some sentences from the text in which the -ing form is used, then ask them to discover the function of each -ing form, summarize the rules and apply them to the exercises. This is to help the students to learn autonomously and cooperatively.
To sum up, try to make grammar learning meaningful, interesting, and lively. Arouse students’ interest in English.

三、学情分析
教学对象为高一学生,学生的基础比较薄弱,同时学生对语法学习有畏惧情绪,没有信心。所以在教学过程中,我尽量把抽象的语法知识简单化,使语法教学贴近学生的认知范围,增加了趣味性和真实性,练习方式把图片、视频、动画相结合,使得课堂充满了生机。我特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。他们学习英语语法由死记硬背转型向理解型并应用到交际上,他们有自己的学习技能和策略,学会把语言学习与现实生活和兴趣联系起来。通过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性得到加强,不再认为语法课堂很枯燥,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体,同时也加强了与他人交流合作的能力。学生通过多种渠道获取学习资源。不过,本班学生的水平参差不齐,有些差距还相当大。因此在教学过程中,布置的任务要兼顾各个层次的学生,使他们都有所收获。
因此,在教法上拟采用自主学习和练习同步,学法上宜采用自主探究和互助学习的方式。
