Teaching procedure:

Warming up:

Greet the students. “How are you today? How’s the weather today? Are you happy to see me on this hot afternoon?”.Then call one student to make the topic in front of the class just as usual. Next ask students to review what rules have we learned last class.(if student say it correctly,then he can get one point for their group)

Lead-in:

Play a game.(amazing eyes).The teacher will show the picture one by one on the screen, students try to say the rules in the picture quickly.(the most quickly student can get one point).

Listening:

T :Last class we have talked about the rules at school,now my question is “are there any rules in your family?” let’ look at the book in 1a.

match the picture with the phrases in 1b.

Complete the listening task in 1b.

Complete the listening task in 1c.

Call two students to share the answers.

Reading:

T :when i was young, i liked to talk with my father about my problems, but when i am older and older,i like to talk with my mother. So when you are unhappy,who do you like to talk with?share your ideas(free talk)

Five minutes to read the passage quickly and find the answer of “what’s the problem of Molly?”

Read the first passage carefully and discuss with your group about the family rules and school rules and write them on one paper.(give point)

Then discuss Dr.Know ’s advice.(give point)

Writing:

Now the time is 20 years later,you are parents .will you make some rules for your children, what kind of rules you will make?write them on the paper. At least five rules.

Call a student to share the rules in each group.(give point)

Summary&Homework:

Students continue to finish the rules and read the passage fluently.
