[例1]When I wasa child, I hoped to live in the city. I think I would be happy there. (2015全国新课标卷I)

解析:因was, hoped是过去式,故think也应用过去式thought(指小时候“想”),前后时态才一致。(上下文一致)

2.?并列不一致。

[例2]A woman sawhim crying andtellinghim to wait outside the shop. (2015全国新课标卷II)

解析:由and与句意可知,tell与saw是并列谓语,时态形式应一致,故改telling为told。注意,考生易误以为telling与crying并列,如果这样,意思不通。(并列一致)

遇到并列连词and, or, but等并列连词时,要根据句意去判并列连词后的动词跟前面的哪个动词一致。

[例3]Tony wasscared and begunto cry. (2015全国新课标卷II)

解析:句意是“Tony感到害怕并开始哭了起来了”,可见,and后begin应与was一致,都用一般过去时,故改begun为began。

3.?主谓不一致。

[例4]Luckily, Ihad all my money in my pocket, but the only clothes I had was those I had on. (2011全男新课标卷)

解析:句中(that) I had是定语从句,主句主语是clothes,为复数,故谓语动词was应改为were,才主谓一致。(主谓一致)

语态错误。

[例5]Lots ofstudies have beenshown that global warming has already become a very serious problem. (2015全国新课标卷I)

解析:因“研究(studies)”与“表明(show)”是主动关系,不是“研究被表明”,故应删除shown前的been。

注:设置这类题的条件是动词过去式与过去分词拼写相同。利用这两种拼写形式相同,不但可设置语态错误,而且还可设时态错误,如将一般过去时设为现在完成时,让考生去掉have或has。如:

[例6]Last year Iwas ill and had to stay in hospital for a week. Li Ming came to see me everyday. Then his father has changed jobs and they moved to another city.(2007全国新课标卷)

解析:因and前后是两个并列句,and后的分句中moved为一般过去式,且上文的was, came也都是一般过去式,故change也应是一般过去式,故应删除moved前的has。

5.?拼写错误。

[例7]Tea in China wastraditionally drankfrom cups without handles. (2013全国新课标卷II)

解析:因tea(茶)与drink(喝,饮)是被动关系,故用被动语态;被动语态由“be+过去分词”构成,但drink的过去分词是drunk,故改drank为drunk。(注:[例3]也可看作这类错误,错把过去式began写成了过去分词begun)

6.?情态动词的基本用法。

[例8]We must foundways to protect the environment. (2015全国新课标卷I)

解析:在情态动词(must)后一定要用动词原形,这是情态动词的最基本的用法特点,故改found为find

7.?情态动词的误用。

[例9]My punishment lasted a year. Meanwhile, I found out that with more patience, I mustmakemy toys last. (2012全国新课标卷)
