Step2:Greeting
Teacher(T):Let’s begin our class.
Students(Ss):(Stand up)Good afternoon, Joy
T: Good afternoon,ladies and gentlemen.(T don’t say nothing ,but use a gesture to let students sit down)
Just now ,I didn’t tell you to sit down ,but all of you did it. Why did you do that ?
Ss: ……
T: Good ,because I use the gesture .Before class, we’ve enjoyed a song .If we can’t see the lyrics, maybe we can know the meaning of the song by watching the singer’s gestures.
This is today’s topic: Body language. Gesture is one of the forms of body languages.
Step3:
Show students four pictures to let them understand the different kinds of body languages. Then get the definition of body language.--- Body language is one form of nonverbal communication (非言辞交际) without using words. Eye contact or gaze, facial expression, gesture, and posture (姿势), or how near we stand to each other , are different kinds of body language.

Guess the meaning of the following gestures.
