1. Teacher let students say which syntax-function the underline parts play.

Teacher shows the syntax-function of the infinitive

(subject, object, predicative, complement, attribute, adverbial)

2. Students follow teacher to learn the new knowledge.

动词不定式具有名词、形容词和副词的特征。因此在句中可以做主语、表语、宾语、宾语补足语、定语和状语。

一.不定式做主语

To see is to believe

Not to get there in time is your fault

注：常用it做形式主语，将to do放在位于之后，使句子保持平衡。

句型1：It + takes sb +some time + to do

It takes us an hour ___ get there by bus.

句型2：It +be + n. + to do

It’s our duty __ help the poor

句型3：It is adj. for/of sb. to do sth.

It is + adj + for sb to do sth（是形容事物的性质的 ）
