Step = 1 ﹨ ROMAN I Lead-in
The teacher shows a poem to students on screen. All of the sentences are “inversion” structures. Students need to read and enjoy it.
Step = 2 ﹨ ROMAN II Introduction
1. The teacher shows the “Learning goals” to students.
2. Tell students two types of “inversion”—Full inversion and partial inversion.
Step = 3 ﹨ ROMAN III Inversion —Full inversion
1. The teacher shows three pictures to ask students to choose. And each pictures contains a rule of the grammar. Also, every powerpoint has several exercises.
2. Students need to choose the picture, and do the exercises under the guidance of the teacher.
Contents
Picture one: Students are asked to read aloud the sentences and remember the characteristics of the rule.
Picture two: Students need to write down the answers on their paper, and then discuss with their partners and tell the answers to others.
Picture three: Students fill in the blank directly.
Step = 4 ﹨ ROMAN IV Partial inversion
1. The teachers first lists all the rules of the partial inversion, and gives them ten minutes to recite them.
