1．The teacher shows a video clip from to the students.

Step1 Prediction and understanding of the title

The teacher asks the students to talk about their own understanding of the title, and try to predict what kinds of amazing inventions come across in 3005.

引出课文内容后，首先让学生就题目发表讨论，预测作者在跨时空旅行中将遇到什么发明。

Step2 Reading for details

1．Ask some ss to answer some questions

Q1: how many inventions are mentions in the reading ? what are they?

Q2: did the writer visit the exhibitions by walking around as usual ? if not ,how?

Q3: how do the space citizens send their messages ?

2．Ask the students to read through the following two passages and finish the following questions:

Q1: how do the people deal with the rubbish in the environment area ?

Q2: what is the main job of the companies representatives

由于文章结构清晰，内容简单，主要介绍了three items在太空中遇见的。故笔者直接处理课文细节，比较它们的特征。
