Ability aims
1. Students will be able to use inversions in their own spoken English to make their ideas much clearer.
2. Students will be able to write their own articles with inversions to make their work more diversified in expressions.

II Teaching Key &Difficult Points
Key point:
The key point for my students is to identify different inversions in different situations, such as expressions with not, negative adverbs, here and there, and so on.
Difficult point:
The difficult point is to use inversions in their own speeches and writings.
III Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming up
Lead-in: Share the students two similar pictures and lead in the topic that we will review today.
Step 2 : Presentation
Ask them to observe the sentences showing on the PPT and try to find what they have in common with each other.
1.Never have I been to Nanzhang before.
2.There are many places of interest.
3.Most of you haven’t been there, neither have I.
4.Not until you get there, will you realize its real beauty.
5.In front of the pool stands a huge stone.
6.Only on the top of the mountain can you see the whole city clearly.
From the sentences, we can know that they are all inversions.Then, let the students to recall what the details of inversions.
