II.Analysis of the students (学生分析)
The class is designed for Senior Grade 2 students who are from Longxian No.2 Middle School of Wengyuan, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province. They are very poor in English and lose interest in English learning. Although we have learnt the full inversion in the last class and students have seen the partial inversion during the lessons, it’s still beyond most of students’ ability to grasp the usage of the inversion. Therefore, I should adapt the lesson to each of them and often use many effective activities to finish the tasks such as individual , group work . Besides, I’ll explain the rules in Chinese to help the students understand the rules. As a result, students can learn the usage of inversion systematically so that they can make their articles more vivid and beautiful, also they can get a full comprehension of some texts where inversion is used while reading.
III.Teaching aims(教学目标)
1. Knowledge Aims
Let the students master the usage of the partial inversion and try to
use his structure in their own articles and language:
(1).only 修饰状语置于句首时
(2). so / neither / nor置于句首
(3). 否定副词及介词短语的否定词位于句首时
2. Ability Aims
(1)Enable the students to use inverted sentences correctly
(2)Guide the students to summarize the usage of partial inversion
3.Emotional Aims
Enable the students to be careful and patient when analyzing inversion structures, considering the basic sentence pattern and the agreement.
IV. Teaching important and difficult points
Enhance students’ abilities to master the basic usage of the partial
inversion.
Enhance students’ abilities to solve the partial inversion problems
in “Error Correction” and “Rational Cloze ”
V.Teaching strategies(教学策略)
1. Teaching methods
(1). Let the students listen to the sentences of Inversion in the
reading passage and understand the meaning of them and learn
something about the partial inversion.
(2). Explain the rules of the partial inversion in Chinese sometimes or by using more examples and do more exercise to help the students know the rules better.
