3. Pair work of group to get every student to take part in the teaching-and-learning activities.

Step1. Lead-in

Look at a piece of news about first aid.

Now you know First aid can make a difference .

Look at the picture on page 33 in Pre-reading part.

What has happened to the girl and what can we do?

The girl is burned by hot water.

This class we are going to learn something more about First aid.

Step2. Fast reading

Let the Ss read the passage fast and then find out the answers to the questions

1. How many parts are there in the passage?

2. Match game.
