教学内容分析：

本单元是七年级下册第五单元。经过一个多学期的中学英语学习生活，学生们已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提，学生比较容易接收新的知识。

学生情况分析：本单元许多有关动物的信息能激发学生的好奇心，使学生产生了解它们的强烈欲望，有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。

3.教学目标分析1、语言知识目标：

Words: panda elephant koala animal cute beautiful scary zoo tiger lion giraffe lazy smart

Drills:—— Let’s see the pandas first

——Why do you want to see the pandas?

——Because they’re cute.

2、语言技能目标

通过听说训练和小组合作，学会熟练运用句型描述动物。

3、情感目标

动物和人类都生活在同一地球上，动物是我们的朋友。我们人类应该与动物和谐相处，共同生存。我们应当学会关爱动物，保护动物。

4、学习策略目标:学会调动已有知识,根据情景推测句子含义.

5、文化意识目标:了解各种动物的特性。

教学难点：学会表达喜欢某类动物及说明喜欢的原因。

5.教学过程设计

Ask students to collect as many pictures of animals as possible and try to know some interesting information about these animals.

Ⅱ: While class

Step 1 : Warming up

Teacher shows a picture of animals and ask them what animals they like .

Step 2 : New words

Present the new words by guessing game . Learn new words together

Step 3：Task Section A 1a

Read the new words loudly

Look at the picture and match the words with the animals.

3. Check the answers to the class.

Step 4:Listening Section A 1b

Play the tape, ask students to listen
