Step 1 Revision
1.Go over “if”conditional adverbial clause
2.Translate the following sentences into English:
(1) 如果明天我去了贵阳,我就来看你。
(2) 如果我是你,我会爱上他的。
Suggested answers:
(1)I will pay a visit to you if I go to guiyang tomorrow.
(2)If I were you ,I would fall in love with you .
3.To get students to compare the sentences above .
Step 2 Warming up
Let the students read the text and pick out the subjunctive mood sentences .Ask students to study the following two sentences in Warming Up and translate them into Chinese paying special attention to their verb forms:
(1)If I were to have time next week ,I would see you .
