Read a short passage aloud
Now, you are required to watch a video clip and read after the speaker in the video.
Life in the Big Apple is always busy, but can be great fun too. Living in Manhattan is not like anywhere else in the United States, or even the world. With millions of people living, working and travelling through this small island every day, the opportunities are nearly endless. Although many people tend to work long hours, especially downtown in the financial district, there are also many venues that provide a break from an otherwise busy life. Central park, an enormous park in the center of the island, offers a rather peaceful environment. That strongly contrasts with the concrete jungle. During the summer, it is a popular picnic spot, and many people enjoy skating on the water during winter. There are also many museums in Manhattan. One can go to the Museum of Modern Art and appreciate various works of art or go to the Museum of Natural History, and learn about the natural world.
Now you have one minute to practice reading.
Now listen to the speaker once again and try to read after the speaker.
Now read as the speaker in the video.
