教材分析This is the first period of Unit 2 with a topic of “poems”. As an exposition, this text gives students some information about 5 simple forms of English poems.学

析Advantages: 1. The students have learnt a lot about the Chinese poems and know the general structure of writing a poem.

2. They just finished learning the unit of western art, which helps them understand western culture better.

Disadvantages: Because different techniques are used in the English poems, such as ellipsis and inversion, it may be a little difficult for the students to understand their meanings.

标语言知识能力目标:1、学习新的词汇和短语:e.g. convey, rhyme, rhythm, concrete, etc.

2、尝试互译中英文诗歌;

3、尝试自己创作英文小短诗。 语言技能目标:1、能在阅读中运用阅读策略获取信息(skimming and detailed reading );

2、能就诗歌朗读中的节奏、停顿进行较明确的判断并有感情地朗诵;

3、能根据写作要求,创作五至十行的英文小短诗。文化意识目标:通过对西方诗词的学习和鉴赏,提高学生跨文化交际的能力。情感态度目标:1、能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务;

2、能通过交流和讨论,从对诗歌的欣赏来进一步塑造自己的人生观和价值观。学习策略目标:培养学生的认知策略和调控策略。
