2. Match the poems with the authors.

Pre-reading
Ask students to look at the questions and find out the key words before reading the text.
What is the main topic of the reading passage?
What is the main idea of para.1?
How many forms of poems does the reading passage talk about? What are they?
Fast reading
1. Give students 1 minute to go through the passage and find the answers to the 3 questions in Pre-reading.
2. After finishing answering the 3 questions, ask students to summarize the skills of finding information in the reading passage. Students should pay attention to the topic sentences, key words, and the title, etc.
