四、教学方法(Teaching Methods)
1、教师只是课堂的组织者和课堂情景的创设者,为了给学生一个轻松、和谐、愉快的学习氛围,使学生真正成为学习的主人。我采用小组讨论为主,教师点评为辅,创设情景,模拟演示等方法。
2、辅助手段:借助课件呈现师生的情景会话,让学生从听说读写各个方面去感受新知识,全方位的掌握所学内容。
五、教学步骤(Teaching Procedures)
Step 1、Lead-in(在老师和学生自由聊天中导入新课)
T: Do you want to go to a zoo?
Ss: ....
T: Do you like animals?
Ss: ....
T: I like animals ,because they are our friends.No animals,no humans.Then what’s your favorite animal?
Ss: ....
T: I like pandas best.Maybe you can ask me why,I think they are friendly ,lovely and cute. OK, now let’s learn Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?
Step 2、Finishing Part1 in Guided Learning Case(完成导学案第一部分自主学习,检查预习情况。以小组合作形式进行。)
Students do it by themselves first.Then discuss and check the answers in groups.
Step 3、 Presentation(借助于多媒体呈现图片,学习单词和句型,老师先领着说,再由学生自己说,进行螺旋式上升。)
New words:tiger elephant koala panda lion giraffe cute lazy smart beautiful
Import ant sentences:Let’s see the pandas first.They are my favorite animals. Why do you want to see them? Because they are interesting.
Step 4、Guessing Game(抢答游戏,用词汇描述一些动物要学生去猜,复习刚学单词。)
1.elephant 2.koala 3.panda 4.giraffe 5.tiger
Step 5、Matching and listening(完成课本1a和1b,从听写两方面继续巩固所学知识。)
Step 6、Fishing Part2 and Part3 in Guided learning Case(小组合作,探究一和二,并展示出来。小组弄不懂的,老师点拨。)
Step 7、Practicing(Work in pairs first,then choose some groups to act them out.)
Make conversations using the following words like this:

Step 8、 Finishing Part4 in Guided Learning Case(检查学生本节课的知识掌握情况。)
Step 9、Watching a video(看关于爱护生物的录像,进行思想教育。)
