This period is to have appreciation of English poems. In order to make all the students have a better understanding of English poems and meanwhile make them master the knowledge and characteristics of English poems, we have created this special lesson.It plays an important part in the English teaching of this unit. It laid the foundation for the students to have learned the other lessons in this unit. By studying this lesson, students can improve their reading ability; learn some characteristics of five simple forms of the English poetry. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some important words and expressions and grammer knowledge to comprehend the passage better. The students should do some listening and speaking, too.
