2. Revision
A.A guessing game.
Show animal pictures with half-covered on the Screen, lead the Ss to guess what animal it is,revising names of animals.
B. Brain Storming.
Show some animals on the Screen,have Ss talk about them,using adjectives,countries and sentences learned in this section:shy,fun, smart,cute,tall,beautiful,lazy,scary,India,Australia,South Africa,Why do you like ...?/Why don’t you like...? Because .... Where are they from? They’re from ....
3. Grammar focus.
Have Ss read the sentences in Grammar Focus box by selves, then ask some to translate the sentences.Answer questions Ss asked.
Ss try to translate the sentences on the Screen.
4. Investigation.
A. Get Ss to read: Why do you like pandas? Because they’re kind of interesting.
Why does John like koalas? Because they’re very cute.
Why don’t you like tigers? Because they’re really scary.
Learn the usage of “why” with Ss, summarize it.Do the exercises to check if Ss grasp it.
