Teaching Plan
Teaching Content: Unit1 Living Well----Listening and Speaking part.
Teaching Objectives:
Knowledge objective: Students can know the detailed information about the climbers.
Ability objectives: Students can master some unfamiliar words and learn some skills about listening; Students can use their own words to offer congratulations to others and practice their listening ability.
Emotional objevtives: Students can realize the listening part is not very difficult as they imagine and they also learn hardship spirit from the special climbers.
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1.Pre-listening
Offer a part of “Lemon Tree”to relax the students and fill some blanks.
Lemon tree
I'm sitting here in a boring room. It's just another rainy Sunday afternoon .I'm wasting my time. I got ______ to do. I'm hanging around. I'm ______ for you. But nothing ever happens and I_______ . I'm driving around in my car, I'm driving too____, I'm driving too ___.I'd like to change my point of ____,I felt so______. I'm waiting for you, But nothing ever happens, and I wander I wonder how I wonder why Yesterday you told me about blue sky and all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree …
(Justification: Arouse students’ inspiration about listening class,which can help the students reduce tensity.Meanwhile,make the students learn that listening is just around them!)

Step 2.While-listening.
1 .Ask students to listen to the recordings and get the answers:
Do you think the climb is special? And why?
