Step1 Revision and lead-in
1. Go over the content of the first reading passage “Marty’s story” briefly
--- Although Marty is a disabled person, he manages to live as rich and full life as we do .
2. Enjoy another short video about the disabled.(After that, ask the Ss “What do you think of them?”)
----They are optimistic, strong-minded, brave…etc. In a word they are really great although life is not easy for them.
3. Show some pictures of a cinema,including inside and outside facilities and ask students to discuss what problems that people with disabilities sometimes have in a cinema.
(Divide students into different groups. Each member is encouraged to think actively and participate in the discussion. Make sure all students have their own opinions.)
