Teaching procedure(教学过程):
◆Pre-class activity
Task: Invite 2 students to explain 2 test items chosen from NMET.
(3 mins)
Purpose: To arouse students’ interest and encourage them to participate
in class activity.
◆Step 1 Lead-in (1 min)
Teacher tries to elicit this class’s writing task-----A letter to Architect about the disabled.
(T: There are so many disabled people in our daily life. What can we do to help them? Today, we’ll write a letter to a designer of a building, hoping him/her can take notice of the necessity of the disabled.)
Purpose: To elicit the learning task by the above translation exercise.
◆Step 2 Pre-writing (15-17 mins)
◆ Teacher presents the writing task on the screen. (1 min)
你是我校高二年级学生,县城要修建新的人民医院,请你给总工程师写一封信,提出几点建议。
1.台阶、电梯等(的按钮)不宜过高,便于老弱病残使用
2.宽敞的通道供坐轮椅者通过。
