Students can learn some sentence patterns of suggestion and put them into using.
Teaching difficult point:
Students may find it hard to use the patterns into the composition, so lead them to finish some relating exercises.
Teaching process:
Step1 Lead-in＆Speaking
The teacher uses her own experience to lead students to express their troubles and ask them : When you meet with troubles ,who do you like to talk to ? Why?
Step2 Learn some sentence patterns of giving suggestion.( Individual work)
Before the class ,let students read the letter on Page8 in the text book. Underline the examples of the polite forms in this letter. And write down the polite sentence patterns.
In the class, students may show them to the others. They may be:
