Step Ⅰ Lead-in
T: Look at the screen. Do you know the picture? (Show a picture)
Ss: Yes.
T: It is about a cartoon named Tom and Jerry. Tom is a cat and Jerry is a mouse. Well, we will enjoy a short part about it and then you will be asked to tell us what happened in the scene. Do you understand?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now who wants to tell us what happened in the scene?
S1: ...
S2: ...
T: Well, look at the screen.
Jerry ate Tom’s fish. (Tom’s fish was eaten by Jerry.)
Tom caught Jerry. (Jerry was caught by Tom.)
Step Ⅱ The Passive Voice
Revise the Passive Voice: be + past participle (be + V-ed)
The passive forms of different tenses:
一般现在时： am / is / are ＋ done
一般过去时： was / were ＋ done
一般将来时： will / shall be ＋ done
过去将来时： would be ＋ done
