以小组活动的形式,在相互交流和探讨的过程中提高语言表达能力 ,并勇于在课堂上展示,提高学生的听说能力,为学生的终生学习打好基础。
情感态度价值观目标:
1 培养良好的学习习惯,养成高效的学习方法,发展自主思考与他人合作。从听力材料中明白科技进步给人类生活带来的巨大变化,从而明白学好科学技术的重要意义。
2 学情分析
参与本课例的学生是高二年级(五班)(普通班),总体情况如下:
作为普通班的学生,用英语交流会有一定难度,因为词汇量和所掌握的句型有限,但是经过一年多的学习和语言积累,学习态度和学习积极性均有巨大改变,也有了一定的语言储备,学生们的热情很高,能够积极投入课堂教学中来。
重点难点:
1 Students have to listen to the tape carefully and know the advantages and disadvantages of keeping a real /robot pet
2 Students are required to brainstorm these advantages and disadvantages and say them in front the class.
活动1【活动】Step1 Lead-in
Show students a video and introduce the topic robots.
活动2【活动】 Pre-listening
The teacher use pictures of Amanda, Jamie and Victoria, the three characters and the four robots to make the listening content easy and vivid.
The teacher may suppose the three characters as her friends to make her class coherent and approachable.
活动3【活动】Listening
Students listen to the tape for the first time and tick the right person for the five questions.
Students listen to the tape again and have a dictation.
活动4【活动】Debate
The purpose of the debate:To encourage students to express themselves freely, they can first make up their dialogues with their partners. Write down the advantages and disadvantages of keeping a real/robot pet. Be prepared for the debate.
In the last 8 minutes of the class, ask some students to the front to report their discussion.
活动5【作业】 step5 Homework
Students write down their own essay according to the dialogues/debate they had made up above and offer some advice on improvement.
Exchange students'essays with his/her partner and try to correct them.
