I. Teaching Aims

Knowledge aim: learn how to get right information from what students hear on the tape and answer the questions given according to the listening material.

Ability aim: to develop students’ ability of reading, listening, speaking.

Emotion aim: to arouse students’ interest in animals and plants living under the sea.

II. Teaching important point:

1. Pick out the expressions and fill in the missing words in the short passage given.

2. Answer some questions given about sharks in order to smooth the way of listening.

1. How to enable the students ask and answer the questions when hearing the listening material.

2. How to enable the students use what they have learned to retell the passage.
