I.Analysis of Teaching Material教材分析:
An English linguist D.A.Wilkins once said: “ Without grammar very little can be conveyed, without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed.” He states that the volume of vocabulary is very important to English learner. In this class, I shall take the Ex3. Ex4 Ex5 (on Page25 of NSEFC Book7 Unit3 Under the Sea Reading2 A New Dimension of Life )to address a Using Language Lesson, in which focus on the usage of adjectives and some useful expressions for strong feelings.
II.Analysis of Students学情分析:
Most of my students have a basic English knowledge. However, they still need to be initiative in English learning. I am sure that most of them will be interested in the hot topic about undersea animals and fascinated by the vivid descriptions in the text. Hence, what the students can learn from the text are the vivid descriptions and useful expressions for strong feelings. They are required to learn how to use adjectives correctly in their English speaking and writing. In particular, it’s urgent to enlarge their volume of vocabulary and improve their English writing skill.

1. Knowledge aims:
(1) To know about the formation of complex adjectives
(2) To get command of the order of adjectives using before a noun;
(3)To learn some useful expressions with strong feelings;

To improve the speaking and writing skills through using vivid descriptions and useful expressions that express strong feelings;
3.Emotional aim:
To raise the students’ awareness of environmental protection.
