二、教学对象分析

授课班是我校高二理科重点班,学生的英语成绩列全级理科班前三,学习积极性高,有英语单科尖子。在任教版高二模块七unit 3中学生学习了投诉信,学生了解了投诉信的文体结构,并积累了相关文体的词汇和句型。学校在上周的段考中再次考查了投诉信,在改卷中教师发现学生在主体段投诉内容和原因的表达上思路不开阔,拓展不够深入,逻辑性不强,无法进行有理有据的得体投诉。

三、教学内容分析

本节课主题是“投诉信文体难点突破”,属于互动交流型写作课型。整节课围绕“如何有理有据地表述投诉内容与依据”展开教学活动,通过“问题驱动课堂”教学法确定教学课题,采用“支架教学法”开展教学设计,由课前布置学生比较考试中两名同学的作文并研读“投诉信”的文章结构及段落写作内容安排,总结出正式的投诉信信函的语言特征,引导学生关注投诉的语体风格,再到课堂上完成半开放式的口语活动(控制性交际模式)突破写作难点,为学生完成写作任务、丰富话题素材、拓展思路、添加逻辑性写作内容奠定基础。

四、教学目标

1.读-- 比较学生习作,分析投诉信的语体风格、文章结构、段落信息整合及安排。

2.说--小组讨论“一次因不愉快就餐经历产生的投诉内容和依据”,为写作做铺垫。

3. 写--完成一封投诉信的主题段落写作。

五、教学重难点:

指导学生通过阅读正式的投诉信范文,总结投诉信写作的文章结构和语言特征,学会学生如何有理有据、得体、多元地表达投诉内容和依据。

Lead-inBefore class, Ss were required to compare two letters of complaint they wrote in the previous test and learn some basic knowledge about the features and structures of letters of complaint.

2. Ss were required to read the letter in Task 3 and label the paragraphs with their functions.

3.Ss were required to read the letter in Task 3 again and find the complaints and justification.

By checking the homework, T leads to the topic of this class.

Presentation1. Lead to the topic by watching a video clip.

2. T checks the homework and summarizes the structure of letters of complaint.

3. T draws Ss’ attention to how the writer develop a complaint by adding justifications to support it.

4. T draws Ss’ attention to how the writer of the letter links the complaints and justification together.

5. T helps Ss to summarize the characteristics of a formal letter of complaint. By analyzing the passage, Ss develop their abilities of learning independently and discovering the characteristics of letters/emails of complaint, which helps them have a better command of how to write a letter of complaint themselves.
