看多媒体上的这幅图并且问学生这个问题：
Do you know about whales ?
(Such as the killer whales 虎鲸，the baleen whales 须鲸)
看第二幅图并且问学生：
What’s the name of the big fish ? ( baleen whale )
What is happening in the picture ? (Old Tom , the killer whale and other killers are helping the whalers to hunt a baleen whale.)
Now turn to page twenty and let’s learn the first anecdote “ Old Tom , the killer whale.”
