Show students some beautiful pictures of the scenery of the sea and the creatures under the sea to arouse the students’ interest.
Then make the students imagine that they are to write a short passage about the sea and encourage them to think about what aspect they will write about.
After the students express their ideas, list three possible situations or aspects they may write about to make sure the students know they can write the passage from many different aspects.
